About us
We all carry monsters. Some whisper. Some roar. This year, we’re giving them centrestage.
Monsters of My Mind (MoMM) is a multimedia storytelling universe where emotions and inner battles take physical form - as creatures you can see, name, and share. Born out of a need to make stories of struggle felt as well as heard, MoMM is a space where young adults turn their most complex feelings into visual, narrative, and participatory art. We believe that when you draw your monster, write its story, or witness someone else’s, you start to loosen its grip. You stop being alone with it. And sometimes, it stops being a monster at all.
Why Now?
Young adults today are living in a storm of rising mental health struggles.
Old languages no longer work in addressing them.
We need new metaphors, new ways to connect.
MoMM is that universe: a space for mental health, cultural specificity, and speculative imagination.
2025–2026 marks our first chapter—The Year of the Monsters of My Mind—with campaigns, comics, and collaborations that put these creatures on the cultural map.
Who’s Behind This?
MoMM is an initiative by Storiculture, an impact media studio of artists, storytellers, and systems thinkers who believe design + empathy can shift culture. Developed at Genre.X Studio and powered by Creator Rooms, MoMM brings together psychologists, educators, illustrators, and people with lived experience to make the platform real, responsible, and deeply human.
